The Author

Martin learning firebreathing in his garage in order to be seen from the back at the upcomming Kingston festival, 1992Martin Day was born in Woking in the south of England in the 1960s. Following education to A-level standard he pursued careers as diverse as virus research, glassblowing and information technology. He currently work as a part-time church leader and children’s worker for Brookwood Community Church in the UK (www.bcc-info.org.uk) and runs a sumo wrestling party business as a sideline (www.SumoExperience.co.uk). He preaches occasionally and specialises in producing creative multimedia presentations. During the 80’s and 90’s Martin fronted Christian rock band ‘Salt Solution’ (www.bcc-info.org.uk/saltsolution.htm & www.myspace.com/saltsolution) whose recordings continue to be available on the internet (iTunes, Napster, etc). Martin still lives in Woking with his wife Jill and teenage children Chloe and Sam.
